About.

I live in North Vancouver and I teach electric and acoustic guitar, bass, vocals and ukulele in person at my Uptempo Music Studio, Lower Lonsdale or online across the globe.  My students range in age from 8 years old up to 80 plus years of age. Though some of my young students go on to Berklee or other music universities, my real love is teaching people who genuinely love music and seeing the joy it brings them as they improve with my guidance.

My hope is that my students will see that music is a great way to challenge, give themselves enjoyment, and express themselves for the rest of their lives.

I am a Capilano Jazz diploma graduate (with honours) with over 35+ years teaching experience and over 40+ years of performing my music on stages and radio stations across Canada.  Several of my lessons have been featured in Guitar Player and Guitar World online.

For online and group lessons, contact me via my cell 604-910-0604 or via email edsguitarlessons@hotmail.com or use the booking forms below to send your inquiry.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.
